I don’t care if this song is overplayed. I absolutely love this song. Probably like most, I heard of them from the movie 500 Days of Summer. Ever since I watched that movie last year, I’ve been in love with this band. I will never ever get sick of this song. This is a type of song where when I close my eyes, it brings me back to a time when I went ice skating in downtown Chicago outside. It was my first trip without parents. There wasn’t many people on the ice with me, so I spread my arms while skating and looked up at the skyscrapers and closed my eyes. Yes, very dramatic, but I felt sooo free. There are a handful of songs that bring me back to that place.
