30 DAY CHALLENGE
Day 01: Photo of yourself along with ten facts.
01. Surprisingly, out of all the nail colors I have access to, OPI’s Here Again, Aragon Tomorrow (dark forest green), OPI’s Siberian Nights (bluish, deep purple) and Sally Hansen’s Chic in Commander (greyish-slightly purplish taupe) are my favorite nail colors. I don’t like any other versions of these colors.
02. I am obsessed with nail polish, lip balms, and mascaras. Every time I go into a store like a Target or CVS, I usually end up getting/wanting one of those things.
03. One of my worst habits is leaving used paper towels everywhere after washing my hands.
04. Sophomore/Junior year, my cousin put my name in a raffle (without me knowing) to sing in front of the school (small alternative school); it was karaoke day. She wrote down my name and the song “I Turn To You” by Christina Aguilera. Lol. Punkass. You could hear me shaking. I stopped before the really high notes. Didn’t want to make a fool..
05. When I was young, I received an Easy Bake Oven (thanks, Audra). That’s when I discovered my love for baking. When I ran out of packages of batter, I used pancake mix. Yuck, but I wanted to just bake.
06. I’m 25, going on 26. I am still afraid of the dark. I use my phone as a light to go from room to room if I need to get up at night, or I’ll turn on all the lights. And also, even though I don’t like the dark, I like to keep the doors open when living by myself. Closet doors, bathroom doors, etc. Better for me to see what’s coming, then wondering what’s behind the door. Only thing I don’t leave open is the shower curtains. I don’t want to get mold.
07. I think it’s annoyingly stupid & at times disrespectful when people act ghetto when they’re from the suburbs.
08. I bought a pair of kitchen gloves last week. They actually make me excited to wash the dishes. Lol. My dogs thought the gloves were toys because they were blue.
09. clothing: I love graphic tees, stripes, florals, and anything gray.
10. I really am blessed. I pray all the time, thanking for the life that I have. I am not rich with money, but I am rich with love from family, friends, my senses, and myself. I truly believe no matter what situation you are in, things could be worse. You have to look at the brighter side of things. If you don’t, then you’re making it harder than it should be. Someone used to say to me, ‘stop feeling sorry for yourself’. Not to be mean, but to get it through my head. To stop being so negative.
“Life is really simple, but we insist on making it complicated.” - Confucius.
